BSU - SAT Test Centre

The British School of Ulaanbaatar is an authorised SAT Test Centre for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Examinations will be administered in accordance with College Board’s official testing procedures.

To register for an SAT examination at BSU, please register through the official College Board website and select The British School of Ulaanbaatar as your preferred test centre, subject to availability.

The SAT is a standardised, computer-based examination developed and administered by College Board. It is widely used as part of the undergraduate admissions process by universities in the United States and other countries.

The digital SAT is administered through Bluebook, College Board’s official testing application. It consists of two sections:

Reading and Writing: 64 minutes
Mathematics: 70 minutes

The total testing time is 2 hours and 14 minutes, excluding breaks and check-in procedures.

22 August 2026 — Registration deadline: 7 August 2026
12 September 2026 — Registration deadline: 28 August 2026
3 October 2026 — Registration deadline: 18 September 2026
7 November 2026 — Registration deadline: 23 October 2026
5 December 2026 — Registration deadline: 20 November 2026

Spring 2027

6 March 2027 — Registration deadline: 19 February 2027
1 May 2027 — Registration deadline: 16 April 2027
5 June 2027 — Registration deadline: 21 May 2027

Please note that BSU may not administer the SAT on every date listed above. Candidates should confirm test-centre availability when registering through College Board.

Registration:

Candidates must register directly through the College Board website and select The British School of Ulaanbaatar as their preferred test centre, subject to availability.

All registration, payment, accommodation requests, cancellations and changes must be completed through College Board. BSU is unable to register candidates or make changes to individual bookings.

Before Test Day:

Candidates are responsible for completing the following requirements before attending the examination:

Install the latest version of Bluebook on an approved testing device
Confirm that the device meets College Board’s technical requirements
Complete the examination setup in Bluebook before test day
Obtain an up-to-date admission ticket
Ensure that the testing device is fully charged
Review the current College Board testing rules and identification requirements

Candidates who require a device from College Board must request one during registration and within the applicable deadline.

What to Bring:

Candidates must bring:

A fully charged, approved testing device with Bluebook installed and examination setup completed
An up-to-date SAT admission ticket; a printed copy is recommended
An acceptable original physical photo ID
Their College Board username and password
A pen or pencil for scratch work

Candidates may also bring an approved calculator, charging cable or portable charger, water and a small snack.

Scratch paper will be provided by the test centre.

Arrival and Admission

Candidates must arrive at BSU no later than 7:45 am to complete check-in and identity verification. Late candidates may not be admitted.
Only registered candidates will be permitted to enter the testing area. Parents, guardians and accompanying visitors will not be permitted inside the examination area.
Candidates must follow all instructions issued by BSU test-day staff and comply with College Board’s testing and security requirements.

For matters relating to registration, payments, accommodations, cancellations, admission tickets, College Board accounts or examination results, candidates must contact College Board directly.
