Updated: Jun 15, 2023

The British School of Ulaanbaatar is very proud to announce that three students have received COBIS Student Achievement Awards. The award recognises outstanding individual achievements or contributions to an aspect of school or community life.

COBIS is a membership association that represents more than 450 schools and organisations globally. COBIS schools, which educate over 165,000 students and employ more than 17,000 teachers, can be found in more than 80 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas. The Student Achievement Awards was open to all COBIS schools.

This year 346 students from 131 schools were nominated for awards. From BSU the following three students were selected:

  • Namuun Battur (Year 12) - Significant contribution to the wider life of the school.

  • Oyundari Nandinjargal (Year 4) - Outstanding effort.

  • Yuchun Shao (Year 13) - Exceptional academic achievement.

These students’ commitment to learning, showing compassion and a willingness to help others along with their academic abilities resulted in them receiving prestigious awards. It is always amazing to see members of the BSU community receive well-deserved recognition. Please join us in congratulating the three students.
