The American Math Olympiad (AMO) is an international mathematics competition for primary and secondary school students, jointly organized by the Singapore International Math Contest Centre (SIMCC) and Southern Illinois University (SIU). The competition encourages students to develop deeper mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The 2025 AMO welcomed 43,545 students from 39 countries around the world.
We are proud to share that four BSU students received awards for their outstanding performance:
🥇 Amar – Gold Medal
🥈 Tselmeg – Silver Medal
🥉 Anand – Bronze Medal
🥉 Margad – Bronze Medal
All four students, currently in Sixth Form, received medals and certificates in recognition of their achievement.

BSU is incredibly proud of these talented young mathematicians whose dedication, curiosity, and hard work have brought recognition to our school on an international stage.
Congratulations to Amar, Tselmeg, Anand, and Margad! 🎉
