BSU year 12 students Anungoo Ganbold and Nandin Badar-Uugan participated in the 17th annual World Scholar’s Cup Tournament Of Champions which held a place in the USA, Yale University and was recognised as the owner of 17 gold, and 16 silver medals.
The World Scholar’s Cup Tournament Of Champions is an international competition for Debating, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Bowl and Scholar’s Challenge on 6 subjects. This year, it was one of the largest competing rounds with over 2,500 scholars from around 80 different countries. Their achievements individually and as a team are truly remarkable with them becoming the best debaters from Mongolia to ranking the highest on collaborative writing and challenges internationally.
Nandin: 7 medals from the second round, 6 medals from the third round
Anungoo: 10 medals from the second round, and 9 medals from the third round. Overall:
