Winner of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) Student Achievement award

The British School of Ulaanbaatar is very proud to announce that three students have received COBIS Student Achievement Awards. These certificates were awarded for significant contributions to the wider life of the school and the wider community and exceptional academic achievement.

The Student Achievement Awards was open to all COBIS schools. COBIS is a membership association that represents more than 450 schools and organisations globally. COBIS schools, which educate over 165,000 students and employ more than 17,000 teachers, can be found in more than 80 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas. This year 328 students from 127 schools were nominated for awards. From BSU the following three students were selected.


  • Year 12 Khaliunaa Gankhulug - Exceptional academic achievement.

  •  Year 12 Nandin Amarsaikhan - Significant contribution to the wider life of the school.

  •  Year 11 Oyu-Undram Batbayar - Significant contribution to the wider life of the school.

These students’ commitment to learning, showing compassion and a willingness to help others along with their academic abilities resulted in them receiving prestigious awards. It is always amazing to see members of the BSU community receive well-deserved recognition. Please join us in congratulating the three students.
