In Primary last Friday we celebrated 'Green Day'. The children came to school dressed in green and inside and outside the classroom they enjoyed a curriculum based around the environment. All week children have been collecting plastic bottles which will be donated to the Veloo Foundation to help support their Kindergarten which supports 'Children of the Peak'. We didn't expect the children to respond as well they did - it was an amazing effort. Altogether the children brought in over 2000 plastic bottles. For one activity both Lions and Tigers used the bottles to create the letters for I RECYCLE across the sports hall. They worked as a team a produced an amazing result.
