During 2017-2018, the British School of Ulaanbaatar football team had a successful year and has developed well. The football team has been involved in national and district championship tournaments for the first time and we were one of the strongest teams, promoting the school socially.

In August 2017, the team participated in the ‘China Gothia Cup 2017’ youth football tournament for its first year and came third in the group, achieving our first point during an international tournament.

In October 2017, there was an international youth futsal tournament in Ulaanbaatar called the ‘Deren Cup’ and we were against Russian and Mongolian youth teams. The age group was U-11s and from 12 teams participated, with our team achieving 5th place overall.

During January 2018, we participated in both national and district championships in futsal at U-12 level, also achieving our first point in these tournaments.

During February 2018, we participated in the International School of Ulaanbaatar’s basketball tournament and the girls’ U-19 team won 1st place for the first time ever.

In March 2018, we organized a ‘BSU Cup’ for the first time and will continue this every year. We won 1st place against 6 other teams.

During May 2018, we took part in the U-13 ‘UBAC’ football tournament and came in 1st place for the second time in a row.

The U-12 football tournament will also participate in a Mongolian Youth tournament in June and again in the ‘Gothia Cup China 2018’ in August 2018, for which we are training at the moment.
