2017-11-12 06:57:43

After weeks of rehearsals and hard work, our students took to the stage at the Independence Palace on Saturday 9th December to perform in the 2017 BSU Christmas Concert. This was our first ever Christmas Concert out of school, and our students looked and sounded fantastic as they performed on the grand stage.

Performances were given by all of EYFS – Year 9, as well as the BSU Choir, Percussion ECA, Dance ECA, student soloists, and many of our acts were accompanied by the Staff Band. We were also lucky to be joined by professional dancers and percussionists whose performances opened each act.

BSU would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the Christmas Concert; it was a great team effort from students, staff, and parents. We are very proud of our students for their performances and their professionalism at the rehearsals and in the concert.

Roman day

On Monday 11th December. The Year 3 Romans invaded BSU! We started the day with a costume parade, soon followed by Roman commands practise. We played lots of games and the Kangaroos even practised making the Tortoise formation with their shields.
